Meet the Palmdale Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Palmdale

We’re a small, local crew that has worked on over 18,000 garage doors across the Antelope Valley since 2015. Most of us live within 20 minutes of the shop on Sierra Highway, which matters when a spring breaks on a Sunday night in Quartz Hill. What unites us isn’t a logo or a motto. It’s a shared habit of writing down the price before touching a single bolt, photographing what we find, and treating every door in Palmdale like it’s on our own house. Marcus Deller, our owner, hired every person on this page and works alongside them most weeks.

Our People

Marcus Deller, Owner & Lead Technician

Marcus started Servo in 2015 after spending eight years working on commercial dock doors and residential systems across Los Angeles County. He holds a California contractor’s license and still runs service calls three or four days a week, usually the emergency dispatch after 10 p.m. His specialty is torsion spring geometry: he’ll measure the wire diameter, count the coils, and calculate the cycle rating before he ever quotes a replacement. Marcus wrote The Haven Standard’s documentation rules after a 2012 job where a customer couldn’t see the cracked spring and doubted the repair was necessary. He lives in Palmdale with two dogs that are terrified of garage door openers.

Elena R., Senior Installer

Elena has been with Servo for seven years and has installed full door systems for every major brand we service, including Clopay, Amarr, and Wayne Dalton. She’s our go-to for uneven openings and older homes in the Rancho Vista area where the framing has shifted and the tracks need custom shimming. Elena is certified on LiftMaster and Chamberlain opener installation, and she trains every apprentice we hire on torque specs and safety cable routing. She grew up in Lancaster, knows every street in the East Palmdale grid by name, and keeps a torque wrench in her truck that’s older than her kids.

Dave T., Service Coordinator

Dave is the voice you’ll hear when you call (661) 449-2581 at 2 p.m. or 2 a.m. He’s answered our phones for five years and dispatches every technician with a named call, not a vague window. Dave was a parts counter manager before joining Servo, which means he can identify a Chamberlain logic board over the phone just from the error code you read him. He lives in Palmdale near the high school and keeps a whiteboard in the shop tracking every open work order, every ordered part, and every follow-up photo still owed to a customer. Nothing gets closed on that board until the photo record is sent.

Jacob M., Apprentice Technician

Jacob joined the crew two years ago after finishing trade school in Palmdale and has been under Elena’s supervision since day one. He handles most of our sensor alignment calls, roller replacement, and weatherseal installs, and he’s working toward his own LiftMaster certification this year. One thing about Jacob: he is meticulous about photos. Every before-and-after shot on our documentation reports from the last 12 months came out of his phone, and Marcus jokes that Jacob could photograph a broken hinge and make the failure obvious from across the room. He’s a Palmdale native, grew up off Avenue R, and drives a truck with a toolbox that’s alphabetized.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard isn’t a poster in the break room. It’s a list of clauses we can cite by number while standing in your driveway. Clause 1 is why no one on this team will ever say “call for a quote” because the flat, written price and written scope come before any work starts, every time, no exceptions. Clause 4 is why we photograph the failed torsion spring, the stripped gear, or the bent track before quoting a replacement, and why you receive that photo record when the job is done. Every technician here carries a copy of the standard in the truck, and Dave logs compliance on every work order. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means that if one of us misses something, we come back and make it right. The Free Second Opinion applies to any written estimate from another company, so bring the paperwork and we’ll go line by line through it with you. That standard is what has carried us through 18,000 doors since 2015, and it’s what every person on this page works to protect.
